The ALEX portal is an evidence-based and community-driven tool that empowers healthcare providers to seamlessly connect patients with clinical trials. Through easy-to-use email-based referrals, ALEX helps you connect patients to research studies that address their health needs and helps build knowledge that benefits the community.
Through ALEX’s provider platform, you can:
- Search for research studies that meet your patient’s needs and might be of interest to them.
- Easily initiate email referrals, on behalf of your patient, with a research study staff member.
- Refer patients and their family caregivers to the patient-facing ALEX portal to self-refer with a research study staff member using ALEX as a guide.
However you choose to use ALEX, the primary goal is to simplify the research study referral process for providers and to strengthen the connection between community care and research.
